A little about me and my philosophy

I am a fully qualified, BACP registered and integrative counsellor based on the UK’s lovely south coast. My aim is to offer you a safe space to think and talk about yourself, your life and relationships. Together we can then explore what overwhelms you, or where you might feel stuck; and create strategies to help you manage, refocus and rebuild.

As a therapist I believe that the relationship between us is key to you achieving your goals. So let me share a little about me. I am a parent to adult children, have worked in education, higher education and training for over 30 years, and I am the guardian of a lovely chocolate Labrador. In my downtime I love long walks in the New Forest, have a regular yoga practice, love to read and travel when I can.

I believe we have an innate desire to grow, heal, change and connect, but at times we are unable ourselves to enact this without help. I see myself as a fellow traveller in this process offering a compassionate connection in an honest and respectful way. Considering our relationships with others can often support greater understanding of our relationship with ourselves, and this is where you can do this.
